"I was truly disappointed by the meal I had last night, first of all the pork belly was unavailable due to a busy lunch? Which meant only 3 from 4 mains were available, sorry but if you've sold out at lunch get more for your dinner bookings. I booked this table months ago! The fish was less than average and the potato undercooked. Come on, really how difficult it is to boil potatoes and par bake them? As a table of four we spent $550 in this establishment, the drinks were great, the entree of gyoza's delicious, but the mains not so much. My friend couldn't eat her steak as it was rare as opposed to medium rare. If you're going to present yourself as a fine dining restaurant please back it up by what you put on the plate."

"I've eaten here a few times now and never been disappointed. The menu is varied and the food is an excellent standard. It's not the cheapest place in town but you'd be hard pushed to find food this good for less. The Masala Dosa is my new favourite dish. Portions are good and the service is unobtrusive. It can get a little crowded on popular evenings so you may want to consider booking."

"Part of the same family as Newcastle Tap, so I was already familiar with the clearly marked vegan beer and freshly made pizza concept. Huge selection of artisanal beers, lagoons, pilgrims (flagged and filled). Look for the big green points vegan friendly to go. There is a vegan pizza option that Sunny in 3 sizes (7”, 12” 18” at £4.25/ £8.50 and £17 with chestnut mushrooms, mixed pepper, pink onions, sweetcorn, cherry tomatoes, finished with garlic olive oil. Many of the other veggie pizzas can go vegan without the mozzarella. Spacious interior with tables for couples or small groups. Great atmosphere and very popular. Perhaps better on a quieter weekday evening instead of a typical British Bank Holiday Sunday"

"I've been a couple of times and it really made an impression as I particularly wanted to return when I happened to be staying in Leeds with my family. The atmosphere is lovely with live piano music, spectacular views over the canal and large high ceilings and chandeliers. The service is a little chaotic with someone offering us drinks and as they leave the table someone else approaching us from another angle to offer us more drinks. The food is very good and the drinks (all non alcoholic) offer a fair amount of variety but don't assume the lack of alcohol will reduce your bill! Soft drinks are five pound each. Pickles , poppadoms, and everything is charged separately. Children's meals are seven pounds each. Main meals are served without any accompaniments so everything has to be bought separately. Two course meal for two adults and one course for my two children produced a whopping £80 bill! It was a lovely meal but I wouldn't expect a bill that big outside of a Michelin star restaurant."
