"The last kerl must have been on a bad day, I went recently on a busy Saturday lunch 3 of us had the 2 course prix fixe menu. our favorite stars were delicately carpaccio served with sweet fresh beet root ramequin aux champignons, a deliciously baked rodyère garlic mushroom goo. out favorite mains were the rich warming bouef braisé my stunning artichoke ravioli in a creamy white wine sauce with excruciated mint-something I definately cook to house. service was friendly, relaxed (not slow) helpful."

"A minute walk from the city centre's other JDW. Nice to see plants on the way in, although upon closer inspection they were artificial. I had a pint of Pitbull, very good and a vegetable burger with chips and side of roasted vegetables Food wasn't the best with chips quite soft and no effort to present the meal on the plate. Bar service was good though."

"I took 12 people to the murder mystery night, which was a treat for my birthday and my daughters 16th birthday. The hotel looked very nice. Then murder mystery started with a cast of two people. The room was full of people and you couldn't see or hear the act. We were seated at the bottom end of the room and half of my party had to watch the murder mystery through a mirror, has they were seated with their backs to the act. The food came and it was awful. My daughter is allergic to oranges and her melon came with orange slices on. I asked a member of staff if they could change it. The waiter picked up the plate and stomped off in the kitchen without even a word. It was a three course meal and even the chef screwed up the fruit salad for dessert. We sat around for approx two hours and the murder took place after we had finished the complete meal. In total there was three members of the murder mystery and one died so much for the imagination. I do agree with the other reviews the drinks was expensive. My father bought a large wine and a coke and cost him nearly £7, he then went back and asked for a small wine and coke and it still cost him the same money. The bar staff who served him was actually the waiter who took away my daughters dessert who didn't speak. The staff are not helpful and are just pure rude. Next time i will stick to my usual murder mystery venue, where you get value for money."

"We ordered from here via just eat, not only did our food deliver over 2 hours late it was stone cold and half of our order was missing, after trying every way possible to contact the restaurant we got no response to this other than rude customer service and the phone being ended on us multiple times, this is by far the worst takeaway we have ever ordered, the food was disgusting and make us Ill !! Don’t order from here unless you want to be scammed and eat the vilest Indian in your life!"
