"I invited an overseas guest to join me for dinner at the Angus steakhouse because my previous experiences have been so good. Tonight was an unfortunate exception... We arrived early to a restaurant that was devoid of diners except two people. We sat in a window seat and were warmly greeted by the owner and his staff. We checked the menu and also took advice on the best cut of meat to order. I was impressed how both the owner and his compatriot seemed to commit our order to memory no writing anything down. Maybe there was a language barrier between a mixture of German, English and a smattering of Russian spoken by my guest. But we were both increasingly irritated when, firstly they forgot her first course, then later, my side salad, ordered to accompany my excellent (and very expensive) steak and finally our bottle of mineral water. And it wasn't as if the restaurant was overly full... There were many apologies but my Russian guest was not impressed at all. Whilst the meal itself was nice and the steaks were well grilled we left wondering whether the owner wouldn't be better off writing down his customers orders so that they would not be forgotten. Oh, and with a bill of 130,00 Euro for two, this place is certainly not cheap in my humble opinion."
