"This is a fun restaurant that has an arcade/game area. You can rent a space for a party. The menu is decent with pizzas and pastries. I got the Parmesan eggplant and it was okay. I didn't like her red sauce very bitter. I want to try a pizza. The atmosphere is great, but the pasta dishes were like that. My children liked it, so it's a victory."

"My 6 inch steak and cheese was a 4in, and they didnt even put the toppings I requested, it was just steak and cheese, this is the second time this week that this happened. Im not sure if its bc of new employees, in the past theyve always been great at this location."

"This restaurant piqued my interest in satisfying my Burger hunger and was Takeout and just a few minutes walk from my hotel. Service was at the reception with friendly staff. I was disappointed with onion rings no longer available. I ordered the Spicy Kick Burger with garlicries. I didn't find the Spicy Kick to have a very sharp kick. The burger was average, not juicy fresh. Service was nice and the location convenient for me. Food was not inspiring, but satisfied my hunger."

"Foodies beware! Lunch was underwhelming! The service was incredibly slow. My Cobb salad was supposed to come with avocado, but they forgot to put it on. It wasn 't worth complaining. And the balsamic vinegar cork was falling apart in my hands. Our garlic fries were underdone. And the limited menu was mainly sandwiches and salads, with no nod toward modern dining tastes which lean toward having gluten free options. It was actually very casual and not too snobby some people show up in t shirts. Most are in golf clothing. And there was no background music! The place seriously needs redecorating. It 's got a tasteful midcentury modern design with vaulted ceilings and what used to be brown wood beams, which have since been painted. I think they ought to go with that midcentury style to give the place proper ambiance. The man said it was surprisingly shabby. Some of the acoustical tiles in the women 's locker room were sagging. They 've made some poor design choices. The chandeliers appear to have been updated in the 1990s, mismatched, and have mismatched fluorescent bulbs. I can 't think of anything tackier. And the impressive fireplace was sponge painted (let 's hear it for the 90s! They ought to go with the whole midcentury look to reswankify it. There is a nice view from the large windows, though they ought to have had someone out there cleaning up all of the balls that speckled the landscape. I 've heard the food is supposed to be good for dinner, but I 'm not sure I would go back since lunch was so disappointing and the atmosphere service left so much to be desired. You only have one chance to make a first impression."

"This was a fabulous find based on recommendation. When I asked the server at Zotovich Cellars where I should eat lunch while in Lompoc, she didn't even ask me what kind of food I liked. Her immediate response, complete with driving directions: The Eye on I. She was SPOT ON! Rolled in while the specials menu included what turned out to be a smashing good, house-made, pork-and-chantarelle sausage served on a bed of black beans from heaven. I also picked up the cauliflour au gratin for the vegetarian at home, and talked to local customers on the patio who said they eat here 2-3 meals per week. The outdoor patio features barrel-top tables, a long table for larger groups, some square, four-top tables and a central gas-fired barbecue table surrounded by funky, and surprisingly comfortable, surfboard bench seats. While no five-star, white-glove experience, The Eye on I is a worthy stop for locals and visitors, carnivores and vegetarians, folks who want to veer from (albeit tasty) Mexican options that abound in this city (and the lesser-scrumptious, but equally abundant fast-food options). I already look forward to my next visit to Lompoc first stop: The Eye on I."
