"We have been going to Pandan since they were in Tawa. As a family who love Malaysia and local food, this restaurant is better than local Malay, we feel so lucky they are only 20 main away from Johnsonville. We celebrate as many of our family occasions here that we can. From the goat curry, to the claypot fish, it is all a heavenly delight. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: NZ$30–40"

"Terrible service arrived 5 minutes early to the booking at 8pm and table was not ready so we had to go outside and wait. there was a 55 minute wait on the mains and 40 minute wait on dessert by the time we had finished it was past 10pm. food was great but wasn't at all worth the wait. the bill was super expensive and we felt ripped off. we ended up feeling very disappointed and let down, as we were looking forward to going to a nice restaurant. ive previously worked in hospitality and id be really embarrassed making patrons wait more than an hour for food. not on the wait staff but a pretty bad reflection on management. apart from this, serivce was friendly and drinks were good just a shame that the massive wait times put a damper on the night."

"The best place for kebabs all over the North Island I swear. I have tried kebabs from auckland and taupo and could still not be so close to palm kebabs would advise 10/5 stars I ordered lamm eskender on the other day with extra meat and they loaded it up nizza couple working there I was a little sad that they did not open around new years, but everyone deserves a vacation"

"ZERO star. Last night we ordered pronse briyani , we usually do order 'pronse briyani ' from GR8 Tandoori, but last night was not right person cook. We been so hungry and already told them while order that last time when we order medium hot, they made extra hot that we can 't eat and this time 'pronse briyani ' they cook just full of oil, lots of food color, total 4 pronse its uncooked. Just not happy with them."

"I placed an online order for my parents who live about 5mins away from this store. The order arrived almost an hour late. I called the store several times (had to call several times to get someone to pick up the phone) for a follow up and was told it was out on delivery. The meal arrived cold and gross. The delivery person didn't even knock on the door to let my folks know the order arrived. My dad just happened to see a car drive away. Almost $40 of waste. Now reading all of these reviews, it seems this is normal for this store. If you like terrible service and cold ruined food, than look no further than this place. Edit: I wrote in a complaint and was provided a free replacement order. This redeemed my faith in the store for a few minutes, until I called the store to redeem this. Before I could even ask any questions, the rude person on the phone just hung up on me. Then the level of condescension I got when I called back to ask for a recap on what will happen... nothing but trash!"

"We went for dinner with kids. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. The place is warm and has a great ambiance. This little place is nicely decorated and clean.<br/>We tried their samosas highly recommended). The samosas are crispy and tasty feel like eating in India). Garlic Tikka was spicy and delicious.<br/>Garlic Roti and Garlic Naan were flaky and nicely baked.<br/>Mains chilly chicken kids favourite and enjoyed by all. Paneer tikka was tasty. Lamb Rogan Josh we felt like eating in India. It was nicely cooked with a great flavour in true Indian style. We liked it hot. <br/>Mustard chicken curry this was our most favourite. We tried it first time. Highly recommended.<br/>We did not have space for deserts as we were too full. The quantities are generous so we ended up as having takeaway of left over.<br/>Toilets are dated but clean."
