"We had a wonderful dinner here last night, it was delicious and what we had left, where we could go home. the service was excellent and we were made to feel as if no request was small, I would go back happy. it was busy and the seat is limited, so I would recommend booking in advance if a group of them is on the go, but taking away is also available."

"We walked in on a Saturday evening for a table for two. Booking is recommended as we waited an hour to be seated. Staff were friendly and worked hard as it was a busy shift. Food was average. I had a pizza, I felt the tomato base was a little bland but can’t comment on the other items. Enjoyed the pizza base. Would have liked some chilli oil, garlic and oregano. Thanks"

"What a jewel! beautiful old country pub. after lunch on Saturday it is not too busy, has its own parking space and many areas to explore. good choice of drinks (although we have not tried food)."

"Just bought some of your delicious bread OMG it tastes as amazing as it looks and sounds! Still slightly warm, with a crunchy crust and light and soft inside. I chose the wholemeal with cumin, coriander, fennel and other yummy things I am just sitting here back at home eating a slice on its own! Well done I will be back for more soon! :"

"Met up with friends visiting Bath wanted a simple Sunday Lunch. Booking required as they were busy, carvery was excellent good range of meat and veg and plenty of it. Felt a little like a conveyor process but more a reflection of great value and having to get everyone served. Value was a little marred by the cost of the drinks given two of us were driving, we spent nearly as much on drinks as food but otherwise was very good, and would visit again."
