"Things started out well here. We had a Groupon voucher and began with a bottle of wine, included in the voucher. This made it very good value, despite being a very cheap bottle of wine - it was still a nice wine so that's a positive! The entrée was really good - very tasty onion bhajis and nicely spiced vegetarian samosas. Next were two curries we were able to choose ourselves. We had chicken korma - spicy; and beef madras - medium; a garlic naan and saffron rice. The curries were extremely disappointing. Virtually no heat whatsoever - I'm a bit sensative to spice and I couldn't detect ANY chilli. They were tasty but nothing outstanding. The garlic in the garlic naan seemed to be bottled garlic and was SO thickly spread it stayed with me for the rest of the night and wasn't very pleasant. The naan bread itself was nice, it just would have been better with fresh garlic and less of it! The rice was fine, as was the dessert that came with our voucher.<br>

"Good range of interesting beers at ok prices for high strength craft beers.. bucks a pint. Cant vouch for the food as didnt order but what I saw being given to others looked ok at least.<br br/>Been here three times and all times the same female staff member didn't acknowledge me, look me in the eye or say thanks or any pleasantries. Definately a weak point of my experience. Not a natural customer service oriented person I guess. I am naturally polite and say thanks when I get served but to get zero response and no eye contact may sound like I'm being picky but to me it's just human decency to respond. Not a perv or a leach so no need to be treated as such. But leaves a bit of a sour taste.<br br br/>I read another review about the male staff member eating food while serving.. they did seem slight scruffy but they were actually pleasant and engaging. Never saw them eating etc. He was informative about beer choices etc and kind of fitted the arty vibe the place associates with so I'm ok with that.<br br/>Nice setting opposite the library and art gallery and toilets were actually pretty clean,had nice hand soap and didn't stink too bad<br/>So that's a plus too..<br br Overall its not a bad choice of bar but room for some customer service improvement if they want repeat business from me.<br br"

"I've been privileged enough to go around Australia and visit all the red chilli restaurants during my gap year holiday. Their shredded pork with garlic sauce is no doubt one of the best Sichuan cuisine they make. Red chilli and its franchisees is by for the only store that does no sell the dumb down version. It is made with all the ingredients, therefore it's just like the one you would get in when you visit Sichuan. I recommend you to Go to your local Red chilli to try this mouth watering goodness. You'll definitely enjoy its. 5.3.2017"

"Went there ate at night for chinese porridge. Porridge was smooth and tasty, reminded me of home cooked porridge. Prices are reasonable considering the place is opened till 4am!. My son had the beef brisket rice. It had generous portions of beef brisket and we shared the dish betwern 2 of us. Lively crowd and pleasant surroundings, tucked away in Chinatown. Service was good. Will return to try other dishes."

"One of my favourite places! I have come here several times and never once have I been disappointed. It doesn't matter whether I come for lunch, dinner or at 2am.. it is always wonderful. No matter how busy i see the place, we always get our meals quickly and they arrive hot, fresh and tasty. I often get the chicken noodle soup with the beef broth, and experiencing similar dishes in other places just simply arent the same standard! Even the freshly squeezed juices they do are to die for. The prices are reasonable aswell, for $12 I am left barely being able to finish my meal due to great portion sizes. All in all i would 110% recommend this place"
