"Saw this place on a news segment back in July. Finally, had time off from work to go try it. It did not disappoint. The pepperoni cheese bread as an appetizer could have been our whole meal. The pizza dough was delicious. It was so light and crispy. We also tried the Smothers park pizza slice. This was not a big hit for us. We also tried the roasted mushrooms with ricotta. If you love mushrooms this is a must try. Then we tried a slice of the mashed potato with bacon. It was like eating a loaded mashed potato. We got a jalapeños popper calzone to go. We were disappointed that the jalapeños were pickled, so not any heat to this calzone. We will be back to try some of the others. However our favorite was the pepperoni cheese bread."

"The service is a little slow, but I give them a pass because it is just one person. They also seem to be waiting tables along with back house work. The food is amazing! The atmosphere is a start up, but the food makes up for it."

"54 has got THE BEST salad in Owensboro in my opinion. It’s HUGE !! If you don’t get filled up on just a salad then your a pretty big eater. Their salad is full of the fixings and many choices to add or subtract."
