"Definitely held up its name. Got the fruit tart and pie. The fruit tart was so fresh and well balanced, it wasn't too sweet or bland. The fruit was fresh and didn't need the glaze over the fruit. Such a great local shop"

"We have been dining here last night and I am not usually one to write reviews, but I was a bit disappointed. eating is too expensive for what they get. while eating is delicious enough, it is nothing special and is on the small side. I had the creamy chicken/avocado/Mushroom pasta and for $26, for a pasta, they would expect a good portion size or exceptional food and it was also not. my partner had the prawn risotto, which was a little salty, had 6 garne and was very small! the beer was the most disappointing part. the menu did not specify which size, but for $9, we expected a pint, or even a silooner, but a pot beer for $9!? the staff was nice and the food was fast, but I wouldn't go back. for glorified pub food and a beer came our bill to $73."

"The restaurant feels worn and needs a serious refurbishment. Staff is super friendly but inexperienced. The portions of the set $49 menu were tiny. The tiramisu glass (pictured) was half filled and the salad 4 forks full. The quality of the food is reasonable, freshly prepared and similar to what you would find in most restaurants in the Manly area. Very small selection of Australian wines. Again nothing exceptional or memorable."
