"I can’t recommend this place enough, fabulous food, and the service was excellent. There were 13 women and we all got our meals served together. The food was amazing and some of the ladies were very adventurous choosing to have camel,kangaroo,python,wilderbeast , the choices were varied and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place, definitely planning to take the family there . Big thank you to Tony and his granddaughter for giving us a fabulous time x"

"Mixed review, one curry (rezala) was super tasty and hot, the other curry pretty mediocre. The Bhuna was very wet for a Bhuna and was a tad bland. There was way too much ghee in the dishes also. Prompt delivery and food was piping hot."

"Work it out! for one all meals which are simply great pub grub how can they do burger/chips on a Monday at Steak was tender, sausages on my mixed grill also delicious along with other meats, chips great too. Only given to to niggling annoyances such as tables for aren't that big for people so we pushed together, there was no hand dryer or hand towels in the gents and the Doom Bar' (ale for the uninitiated was, as yet, unavailable. There was no garlic mushroom sauce either sadly. However, is it a welcoming place with good food at good prices? Absolutlely it is so...go eat at a price that's a treat!"

"We came up on Sunday for lunch. My family live in Llantrisant and had heard good things. I had travelled down from Guildford. The pub setting is lovely. It’s old and just how I like it. Old, but clean and welcoming. 200 years old I believe? It was my cousins 40th birthday and we chose to come here. We were welcomed in and shown to our table. At the time the pub was not too busy but it got busy later on and that is always a good indication. We were able to order drinks at the bar and then went to the carvery. A good selection of meat. Gammon, pork, Turkey, rare and well done beef. I had the well done beef. It was absolutely gorgeous. Also opted for some pork. Vegetables were served to us on the table. Absolutely no complaints at all. If I could have eaten the roast twice over I would have done. Everything was perfect. And then on to dessert. Hard hard choice. I went with key lime pie as it’s quite hard to find in the UK. I have already said to my family that we need to go back just for pie. It’s just like they make it in Florida. Absolutely beautiful. Not too overpowering with lime but flavoursome. Everyone left happy and full. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and as I have said earlier, an indication of how good somewhere is is how busy it is and this place was full. Thank you for having us. I will be back even if it is for a slice of pie"
