"All-around one of the best dining experiences I have had while traveling. The place is cute and the staff is kind. It was my first time trying Bulgarian food and the shopska salad, tarator, and stew absolutely blew me away. I wish I lived in Sofia so I could eat here again."

"The interieur is very traditional, the waiting staff is dressed in traditional Bulgarian dresses and this naturally also eats at the point. even if the menu is mostly over meat and various cheeses (that is a traditional BG place at all) there are also some vegan options. I recommend the purlenki, a kind of flatbread, and the slowly cooked beans, they were the absolute highlight. if they are looking for a traditional Bulgarian meal sans animal products this is their best bet. kyopulu (a roasted eggplant pepper mix) and the roasted paprika with garlic and dill are also an excellent choice if they are looking for an appetizer. all in all I would say, give this place a walk, as it really captures the folklore variety and eating is affordable and delicious."

"After some urban legend to get the best bloody mary in sofia is prepared right at this place so that I came to check it. the mix included half jalapeno grilled on charcoal try to beat this! the bar is located in a dead center and has a beautiful terrace that is shaded by a literally efeu packed wall, decorated with good taste and humor. flawless service. the cricket with mushrooms and garlic was crispy and hearty. Spinach salad with poached egg, gurke and sesame seeds was another hit. the star of lunch was the beef sandwich that was bribed with melted cheese. but what impressed me most positively was the bloody mary. If I ever visit sofia again, this bloody mary is already on the "must do" list."

"My favorite restaurant in Sofia. My friends and I shared a Balkanska skara for four and it was incredible. The meat was extremely delicious (pause). The salads and the garlic bread were also amazing. Make sure you get the baklava for dessert. Our waiter was polite and nice. They also have live music. Will definitely be back."

"Great restaurant for business and casual dinners, it has a garden which you will need to reserve in advance otherwise it will be booked. The food is very delicious and the portions are huge :D , but that makes it a little bit more pricy. Nevertheless it is worth it. It has a great variety of wines, bears and other drinks all at reasonable prices. The staff spoke English as I was with international colleagues."

"There are only 2 vegan pizzas and no vegan cheese but you don't need it. I had the best pizza I've ever had in my life here. Normally i want vegan cheese but you really didn't need it here. Beautiful fresh flavours"
