"Eating the taste of india restaurant was ok. we tried the faloouda it was not fresh it contained a powder type of substance that could feel it in her mouth and neck, the worst is that if we use the owner of the restaurant and complain about the bad taste of the falouda talking, he said he won't change or refund it for the falouda, the owner said it is not different, he said it is not different the owner of the restaurant was very rude. we were a regular customer and it was very diappointing the owners so badly behave with us."

"We love the food here, have tried a few locally and this is our favourite for portions and quality of food. Sadly though the customer service can be poor. We ordered through just eat had a text saying our food was on its way OVER AN HOUR before it actually arrived it’s automated apparently (which makes no sense) had to chase twice and was told different things, then food arrived below it’s usual standard overcooked burnt chicken and cold chips. Totally appreciate there is only so much the team can do at peak times but simply saying ‘we’re very busy and sorry your food will be delayed’ means we could wait it out, no need for ‘the driver just left’ twice, 30 minutes apart from each other. Not expecting miracles, just your decent food and better customer service."

"Nice evening. Good music drinks were reasonable price. 4 quid for double vodka and redbul . But 6 pound 50 for double vodka and come is a bit unfair. Also try to leave before kick out time because there tends to be a fight or 2 outside at closing time."

"Visited last night, for my daughters 9th birthday, where 14 of us had dinner pre bowling opposite. Fantastic waitress service, and food was great. The staff were really attentive and checking in to see that everyone had everything they needed at all times. We all had a fabulous time, and thanks so much to Frankie and Bennys team Stevenage for making this a great experience for my daughter and her friends. Highly recommend the BBQ platter; was fab."

"Wonderful! absolutely delicious! last Friday we ordered a delivery, we were very satisfied with the quality and taste of the food! we had a chicken corai, a chicken Passanda and my daughter is vegan, they did her a vegetable porkia. we also had a garlic naan, a pershwari naan, 2 mushrooms bhaji and 2 wobble bhaji. it was all so delicious! tasteful, delicate chicken in beautiful sauces. will come back soon! and the supplier, an older, Italian gentleman? was so friendly, polite and funny, it was all an absolute joy! and no, I don't work for them or receive from them something! just a w happier customer!"

"I have called to eat in front of my train to house and everything I can say is what I have eaten Indian food in Britain and the world and that is right there with the best of them. I had the lamb pasanda and shared the peshwari naan. my buddy had the garlic chilli chicken. mine was one of the most beautiful things I've ever eaten and my buddy said he was just as good. the personal is welcoming and friendly. we sat fast and served in time. it won't take long until I'm back in stevenage and the bombay will be my first choice for eating."

"We had been looking for a local to us pub for a Friday lunch and came across this one…the food was very good indeed…we both had Steak and Mushroom pie, mash, carrots and broccoli…all of which was perfectly cooked and the pastry on the pie was done to perfection…the service was very friendly and we would highly recommend a visit!"
