"Visit Swaffham on a cold, wet autumn day, we fought to find lunch. This part of Norfolk may not be as vegan friendly as you might hope. From the outside Margaret’s perhaps not as friendly as it turned out to be. The staff is lovely. They offer a good selection of vegan foods that seems to vary regularly. When we visited, there were the usual milk options, soy, oats or coconut. I had a nice piece of chocolate and orange cake and my wife had a blueberry croissant. There were vegan sausage rolls and all vegetarian pizzas can be veganized. Soup and baking potatoes are also offered. Once inside, the café is really nice, well furnished and cozy. There are sofas and comfortable chairs. A long table and children's playground are located in a separate room. After reaching the stage where any cafe that would do something vaguely vegan would do, Margaret is far beyond this requirement and obviously has tried to accommodate a vegan diet. If you are in the area and need lunch, visit."
