"We've been going here for over 30 years! Came for the Fish Fry, and that's what's kept us coming back all these decades. We don't even order fish anywhere else, we just know it won't stack up to the Stein Haus! Plus, our wonderful server Jean hasalways taken good care of us. Try this gem of a place, you won't be disappointed!"

"Update in Oct 2022: El Fredo's has become our favorite pizza place in South Dakota. We always over-order to take some home, and the left-overs actually get eaten at home. I grew up in New Haven, CT, pizza capital of the world. El Fredo's is a differentstyle, but we really like it just about as much as CT. Had the toasted ravioli as an appetizer, really good. The pizza wasexcellent. Plenty of cheese, good crust, and most of all, both pizzas had a generous amount of sauce so the tomato flavordidn't get lost. Too many places just don't use enough sauce so it almost disappears. Had a sausage and mushroom,, and a plaincheese.. Very pleasant atmosphere, good server, and came out pretty quickly. We'll definitely be back."

"Fantastic Friday fish fry. And prepare to wait unless you arrive at 430pm. Seriously. Is it worth the wait? I'd say yes but you may have a different answer, especially as it is crowded on a Friday and there is not a lot of room to wait. There are plenty of nearby options for fish fry, but don't expect a shorter wait and Dan's or anywhere else in the area. The fish is delicious. On other days the other food here is also above average. Also a full bar, so that helps kill some time as you wait for a table. If you know you face a wait, this will work for you. If you are in a hurry, there are McDonald's in Farmington or Hastings."
