"Made a special trip to Waunakee with my daughter to eat at Doughboys. It's been almost 8 years since I was last there, having moved out of state and then moving back. They have changed the interior layout but it's still inviting and comfortable. It wasn't overly busy and we were greeted immediately upon entering and seated at a comfortable booth/table combo. While we were seated inside, they do have an outdoor patio as well. We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and garlic bread. The garlic bread came in relative short order and was delicious. Not too over cooked and certainly not soggy. Just the right amount of butter and garlic. Our pizza came out shortly thereafter and was equally delicious. Good thin crust, but not too thin. Very lightly sweet BBQ sauce and ample chicken. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. The owner even stopped by to greet us and thank us for coming in. The pizza, garlic bread and 2 sodas came to less than $20. Very good value for the money. We will definitely be back again. And it won't take 8 years to do so."

"Outside, the place functions like a fast food restaurant. Inside, it’s a combination of fast food, neighborhood bar and counter service atmosphere. All the food is great and Drinks are great, at fair prices, so I highly recommend it, but don’t go in looking for fine dining or table service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3"
