"Really efficient and polite service. The soft shell crab, karaage chicken and the crumbed cheese were our favourites. The gyozas we got with garlic sauce are always an easy choice and finishing off with the mochi makes it all worth it. Definitely coming back for more."

"Was pleasantly surprised by this pub. Very grand upon entry, spacious, and has 20s/Great Gatsby like feel to it. Large main and beverage lists, decently priced by comparison to Wellington CBD standard. I chose the 250g Rib eye steak, which was cooked medium rare, and it was absolutely delicious very tender, and the garlic butter was a nice touch (see photo). I split a dessert (the $6 Triple Chocolate Cheesecake) with my partner and it was just the right amount because it was so rich. All desserts are $6 which is unheard of, or you can get all 3 for $15 great for sharing, or if you just want to pig out. <br/ <br/ Have recommended to all, will definitely be back again soon!"

"Let's start with the coffee (or mocha for the coffee addicts). Delicious. Perfect temp and perfect taste. The food was heavenly. Crunchy hashbrowns, perfectly poached eggs, and not too crispy bacon just how I like it. I ordered the $10 breakfast which looked more like an $18 Auckland breakie, and my wife the $15 eggs Benedict. Add two $4 coffees and you've got yourself a cheap breakie that won't break the bank. Thanks team! We'll be back."

"What a team of hospo heroes! We arrived on a busy sunny Sunday arvo. Lovely gentleman offered to move one of the outside tables from the shade to the sunshine on the grass. Magic spot looking at the water. I Took my mum. Same guy brought water to our table while I was inside and he chatted to Mum. She was beaming when I came out at how wonderfully he’d treated her. I noticed he was the same with all the other customers. Took the time to make everyone feel special despite the cafe being busy. We ate a lovely meal of prawns n salad and had a great iced coffee that really hit the spot. An equally lovely and accommodating lady brought our food to the table. These guys deserve a Michelin star for their service. Truly passionate about what they do and show great care for their customers. Nice selection of food at reasonable prices too. And you can’t beat the location. A genuinely perfect experience. Thanks team"
