"Being local we were really hoping that we’d have another option within walking distance for those times when you just can’t be bothered cooking or getting a cab, but whilst the starters were promising, the mains were distinctly distasteful and sadly, the reason we don’t...be going back in a hurry..am sorry to say my stomach still turns a couple of weeks later when I think about the green chicken curry...not good. The restaurant itself is clean and had a nice enough feel, I did love the open windows with the sun pouring in on a very pleasant spring evening and service was excellent super friendly and attentive. Wine list was decent and very reasonably priced. We had garlic prawns and calamari to start, good sized entrees and tasted fresh. We had high hopes at this point but mains green curry and basil chicken I was dubious when the curry was placed in front of us an off green, watery looking bowl with strange veggies, many I couldn’t identify and my instincts were correct. Frankly, a packaged green curry with fresh chicken would have been better I have no idea what they did to it but there’s no other way to describe it but awful. The chicken chilli basil was edible but still not quite right. Best parts of the dish were the baby corn and broccoli pieces. Overall, despite the location being super convenient, it really was very disappointing."
