"Fish of the day was Trevally. Beautifully cooked and presented with cappers and a light creamy sauce. The chicken in a creamy tomato based sauce with herbs was equally a success. A great find on one of the wettest summer days for a long time. Would eat there again if we pass this way."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stoked Restaurant on the Esplanade in Whitianga as part of a package trip with Air Auckland. The restaurant boasts a modern and stylish decor, with a perfect location overlooking the beach and bay. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant dining experience. The food was of top quality, with generous portions that were both delicious and beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the tempura prawns and can't wait to have them again. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the drinks were very reasonably priced. Overall, I highly recommend Stoked Restaurant for anyone looking for a delightful dining experience in Whitianga. "Mellissa our waitress was excellent helpful and friendly. She noticed we were little warm half way through meal and opened wide windows for us. This was first time we had eaten here and we were very impressed. Music was a little loud at times otherwise an excellent meal"

"The butter chicken is delicious. The garlic naan is good. The chicken korma is good. The tandoori chicken starter is a 1/5 as it's just microwaved, dry, flavorless chicken with no tandoori flavor at all. The wife and young guy are friendly. The the older guy couldn't care less about customer service. We spent around 65 for enough food for 3 people. Not bad. Just don't talk to the guy, and please don't get the tandoori chicken."
