"The food was great as usual, but we had some potstickers and we were finished with our meal when we got them. Not a big deal as it seemed like they knew why I came to the register and hadn't forgotten it. Love the Soda fountain machines here and it was very clean and the servers were very nice. This is always particularly good during a late dinner."

"Was craving for Middle Eastern food, and Layla's did not disappoint. We ordered the Kofta Kabob and Chicken shawarma plus hummus to share between 3 people. The Kofta Kabob was served with grilled veggies and Lebanese rice (rice with vermicelli noodles). Everything tasted great, but the garlic whip was really the thing that made the dish come to life. If you're ordering this, make sure to ask for medium to medium well so the meat retains its juice. The chicken shawarma was also served with a side of veggies and Lebanese rice. The chicken chunks were cooked perfectly and weren't dry like some other places we've tried before. Similar to the Kofta Kabob, the garlic whip really put the dish together. The hummus was nothing out of the ordinary, but it was a good appetizer. Overall, had a great time here and would definitely come back. 5 stars."

"I read good reviews about this place but ended up very disappointed. The Tea Salad was very sour and my wife ordered fish sauce to make the taste better. I had the Chicken Dau Bauk and the leg was small and very dry. I felt I ate more rice than the chicken, very over priced. This place does not come close to Burma Superstar in SF."
