"This restaurant is great.You definitely need to book ahead though as they were turning lots of people away. We were told that they have 2 sittings per evening - 18.30 and then another later in the evening. It's nice and cosy inside, although it can get a little warm if you are sitting at the table directly in front of the oven area. We ate here 2 nights and both meals were delicious. The lamb knuckle was amazing and some of the best lamb I've ever eaten.Service was friendly and efficient.It is quite expensive, and perhaps a little more expensive than the Zermatt average, but it is lovely and definitely worth a visit."

"We stopped in here during our first day skiing at Sunegga. Great cozy atmosphere with incredible views. Lovely cocktails and service. Our favorite part was an impromptu opportunity to sing Don 't Stop Me Now by Queen with several of the other guests and staff. What a fun way to wrap up our first ski day in Zermatt!"

"This is a great find. Really good beer and excellent food. Really nice ambience to the place and lovely to chat with Graham who cooks in a very small kitchen adjacent to the bar run by Isabella. Delightful couple who are eager to please and great to talk to. Would definitely return if we are in Zermatt again. Thank you for a great evening."

"We took the train up the Gornergrat today and decide to eat at the Vis-a-vis (table service rather than at the cafeteria. Well worth it! We had a great view of the Matterhorn as well as the surrounding peaks. There is a good selection of food for reasonable prices (by Swiss standards. Soups and salads are exceptional and they also have a full selection of traditional Swiss food. We didn't feel rushed at all and got to enjoy the scenery. I'd highly recommend it."

"We used TripAdvisor for recommendations and it has not failed us. We called at 6 pm to try to get a table - was told only bar seating is available. We said yes of course little did we know that it's the best bar seating ever, cosy and comfortable. I had a spaghetti with peperocino and garlic - it's the best!"
