"Lobster stew was great, and the burger was really good. Nice place to just sit and chill. The food was very decent. One of the few places that were later opened in the evening when we came back from the visit."

"We stayed at Browns Wharf Inn for three nights. Check in was swift and friendly. Our room was a water view on the second floor. Upon entering the room, we were impressed by the view outside our sliding glass doors and balcony. The room itself is a nice size, clean, with comfortable bedding, a tight but very serviceable bath with a nice shower and well-lit sink, really good wi-fi, refrigerator, a quiet air conditioner, and plenty of space to store clothes and luggage. The room itself is reasonably quiet. The balcony is spacious, with the great view, and is a nice place to just relax after a long day of touring. I do wish there were privacy screens between the adjacent balconies, however. There is plenty of parking. A continental breakfast is served in the morning which includes muffins, yogurt, fruit juices and fruit cups. We are allowed to use the dining room to eat our breakfast- a nice touch as the dining area is spacious. Sadly, the restaurant was closed this year. We hope that changes in the future. The location is fine with good walking to town- about a 15 minute walk- all sidewalks- and it affords easy driving access to the surrounding sites. If in Boothbay Harbor, we'd consider returning to Browns Wharf Inn."

"Vacationing in East Boothbay we drove by this place several times before deciding to give it a try. The set-up is basically a bar, a food truck and some tables set up on pier overlooking a boatyard, marina and the Damariscotta river. While we waited for 45 minutes for our fried clams and lobster roll we were dismayed to see that people who ordered similar items after us were getting their food first. Looking around, we noticed that a lot of patrons seemed to know each other, perhaps locals or marina employees. This place has a lot of potential as the view and ambiance are very unique, but it unfortunate that it does not feel more welcoming to tourists."

"The food was excellent. It is rare to get affordable high-end food in a cool leisure situation. My wife has the Scallop and Risotto court and I have the Chicken Alfredo. You also have a tavern menu, so my 5 years old could get some amazing chicken pliers and spiced pommes. Ready with cream Brule. I recommend this restaurant. The restaurant owners are visible and passionate and take care of their customers."

"OMG. I have never had a breakfast this amazing in a while. Portions are good. Food tasted even better. I had the biscuits and gravy and my girlfriend had the French Toast. Everything was fresh and hot and tasted amazing. Will definitely have a return visit."

"We had an amazing experience dining at Harborside 1901. The food was incredible. The staff was super friendly. The timing of the food was on point. I wish I was hungry enough to try every item on the menu. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Boothbay. Easily the best restaurant we had while our 1 month your through Maine. Honestly it could be the best restaurant I have ever been to in general. Go with confidence that you will be leaving overly satisfied!"
