"Lee's Fortuna is old school suburban Chinese restaurant where lemon chicken and sweet and sour pork reign supreme! The restaurant proudly lives in the with so much Chinese ornaments displayed on the mantle along with sporting memorabilia the owners are passionate about and photos of celebrities on the walls. It looks like a restaurant that has lasted the test of time and seen many of generations of poor family members work as waiters or kitchen hands on the weekend. Taking a glance at the clientelle you could see that many are regulars who have also come through the generations. There are many waiters who are in their and mingle and laugh with the regulars and have more...read more"

"It was a pleasure to come here both for the original soft launch and again after the official grand opening. The menu has changed slightly but the feelings of amazement and satisfaction after each meal remain. Harry now works out of the kitchen, but the menu still very much is his.

There's elements of Japanese, a strong presence of Italian and Australian, the quintessential Modern menu of this culinary diverse dining landscape we live in.

The VEAL SCALLOPINI is amazing served on garlic mash and surrounded by a mote of beef jus. Just like the SLOW COOKED PORK there’s delicate technique put in to ensure the tenderness in the meat. Both served with green for balance and crunch powerful protein plates in their own right.

A newer menu item perfect for brunch is the SMOKED SALMON SALAD. Served with it’s side house mayo it’s perfectly balanced with an equal balance of salad and fish.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the venue has an advantage over many cafes in the area as it is fully licensed and close enough to the centre of all the Crows Nest action, but far enough from the hustle to escape from work, with the family and your mates.

The GRILLED SALMON was beautifully cooked and served on Asian greens and sweet potato mash, drizzled with soy and honey there's just the right amount of sweetness and balance between the potato and honey. Its presentation on the rectangle plate almost like a comet.

The GRAIN FED EYE FILLET is a cut about an inch and a half or so thick and so you can appreciate the precision in its medium well success, perfectly seared on the outside with a nice juicy centre! 2 prawns accompany it with asparagus, corn and mushroom gravy and there's a slight play on the surf'n'turf with healthier bits weaved in - loved this.

In reminiscing over the old menu, there have been slight changes to the presentation in some dishes, while others, as beautiful as they were (like the SOFT SHELL CRAB OPEN BURGER) are no more, however leave behind a great legacy in today’s menu.

The TEMPURA ZUCCHINI FLOWERS stuffed with four cheeses are still there in their grandeur and richness!

Always great to see Harry and Kelvin (tho I’m always missing one of you when I drop by!)."

"I was 3 times with my neighbor and the partner, twice that we set ourselves to eat, and the staff is rude and abrupt. The food was very common ... inferior to a Malaysian cuisine. As Malaysian itself, I asked for the beef Murtabak last night after the beef Murstabak. I asked for extra beef (my mother can), but he said that it does not fit. So I just ordered that normal. After shopping, I walked all the house on foot, I opened this so-called "Murtabak" and it was paper thin! Like everything was a small beef seal and no egg, cabbage or onions that it advertises! Even my Anglo-Saxon partner agreed that it was just pastries! So I had to go back all the way to show you that I know you cut corners and know that I'm not just one "eat it" and do not complain. I'm sure the other shops serve much better quality, but if they are nesting in crows, and they try to cut corners, they will soon be pretty away! Just give your manager feedback as ... read more "

"This place has been around for years! Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in Sydney. The service is immaculate and they clean your dishes and bring you new ones as you eat. Every dish we had was delicious and the waiters are absolutely lovely and are making funny jokes at times. The special fried rice and the duck san chow bow is divine! They have a great and pricey wine selection too! I had the Marlborough Babydoll which was beautiful "

"Absolutely great.
I went with five of my friends and we enjoyed this restaurant very much. The exterior and the inner appearance and it can make it possible, but give this place a try! It's a pretty old building, but the people who own the place have said that they can soon renovate what is great!
The food is absolutely amazing, especially the chicken, calamari, shrimp and the whole meat. The chef is very friendly and lively and if you ask, he can do on the grill tricks for you.
Beautiful atmosphere, but provide bookings because it can be very busy.
Love the green tea ice cream too."

"FOOD TYPE
Indian

FOOD QUALITY
Three of us dined here on a chilly, wintery Sun eve in June. We played it safe, sticking to the tried and tested Indian standards that we love so much. For starters it was veg samosas (three to a serve for $7) and paneer dosa ($16), which is a traditional Indian pancake filled with cottage cheese, vegetable stew, lentils, coconut and chutney. For mains, we choose the butter chicken ($21) and lamb korma ($23) accompanied by two serves of saffron rice at $4 a serve and two serves of plain naan also at $4 a serve. Nothing disappointed, it was all fresh and tasty and served in generous portions. The meat was soft and tender and perfectly complemented by the flavoursome and creamy sauces.. The samosas were nice and warm with a smooth veg filling and the paneer dosa had a deliciously crispy coating and filled with tasty ingredients. Only the best quality ingredients are used. It was all brought to the table piping hot, straight from the... read more"
