"I’ve been coming to Cabana for many years before and since the refurbishment and the quality of food and service is outstanding, the best in Espinho. Lots of restaurants have gone downhill since Covid started but Cabana has remained excellent quality. Will be there again next week and will be visiting a few times, without question."

"What an overrated place this is. From the old pieces of bread on the table to the not fresh starter shrimps, to the hard and no fresh squid, all in all its a horrible experience. The crepes we send back and came again as an perkament type of pancake, cold and crispy. Unbelievable bad experience, if you want a rip off, go here, if not take any other place in Espinho."

"During a recent week to the Porto area we were spoilt by the great choice and quality of fish restaurants in Matosinhos. However, on one evening we were in the south and decided to have dinner in Espinho after a walk on the promenade ... Having perused all the available options we finally decided on Baia Sol although we were not entirely convinced but as it was late we went for it. The personnel did their very best to make it a good experience but in no way did it match up to any experience we had that week in Matosinhos. The quality of the fish was poor I had monkfish stew which was totally bland fish in a blandless fish stock with half baked potatoes. I asked for some pepper and the waiter after 10 mins came back apologizing that they had no such thing and offering me cinnamon !! instead as surely that was similar !! . Again trying hard but not efficient and the waiting staff were just very uncoordinated ... The Vinho Verde we ordered Casal Garcia which is the most common Vinho Verde around was not in stock so we had to choose a more expensive option. Great pity as there is lots of potential with the excellent location on the seafront ..."
