"This place has been opened for 50 years or more providing outstanding customer service and great food. I consider myself a seafood lover and expert. This place has amazing jaibas rellenas, pulpo en su tinta and some other specialties. The location by itself is non touristic at all, surrounded of factories and might be dangerous at night."

"La Barra is one tough place to find. It is located next to the Televisa studios on Periferico Sur. If you are a fan of Televisa Novellas or if you want to rub elbows with famous TV stars as you dine, this is the place to be.More importantly, if you are a big fan of fresh and well prepared seafood, this is definitely the place to eat. It was a pleasant surprise to find La Barra. The seafood is delicious. The service impeccable. The décor (walls covered with autographs and drawings from TV stars) is interesting. The parking kinda stinks.I am still surprised at how fresh the seafood was. Ask for an order of the oyster cocktail. Its an oyster in the half shell topped with a shrimp, some green salsa and a thin slice of avocado. My mouth waters thinking about it. Yep, La Barra is a great restaurant."

"Buzzing and lively burger/sports bar. Great prices, good choice of beers and other drinks and the food ain't bad either! Taco's were great and came with all the trimmings, but the burgers are what you go for. Well worth a visit!"
