"Had lunch there today as we had to be at the castle. Gazpacho very good and served in an original manner. Shrimp starter also nice with their crinchy minscule cubes of vegetable but two shrimp is perhaps on the 'minimal ' or stingy side. Steamed seabass fillet tasty and not too cooked; with a lemongrassy ? sauce. Filet of piglet lovely with grilled red peppers; puree was on the cold side though. Deserts here are all very good as they are kept relatively light; just that little bit more 'air ' then creamy heaviness and none are too sweet which is nice. The ice-cream of something Dulce de leche-like was also delicious. Service is attentive/professional and very friendly. Downsides: There were a massive amount of fallen leaves all over the site and on the terrace; that needs to be swept and 'kept up ' a bit better. The reception telling us the restaurant was full; which it was not. Not really expensive; but still spent over EUR100 with only two glasses of wine....and Mery sur Oise is of course not Paris."
