"So, even tho I rave about the Mexicali Chinese food, I am giving this restaurant 3 stars because it is average for the area. Conveniently located, typical decor, reasonable prices, attentive wait staff. The food is good and you get a LOT...I mean a LOT!!...(One entree is enough for 2 people) If you like bean sprouts, order the Chop Suey, it's loaded. The pollo mongo is like kung pao chicken but not as spicy. They do have a limited bar. My knock is the noise...it is a very large room with lots of hard surfaces and is always crowded so it is quite noisy. (We were there with about 40 other patrons, 2 children...and all 3 tv sets were tuned to Bob Spongepants...go figure). We've tried quite a few Chinese restaurants in Mexicali and this is one of the ones we like. (It is quite near Hotel Araiza and the Lucerna you can walk read my hotel reviews too if you are spending the night)"

"The food is pretty good, the experience is awesome the tepanyaki is where it's at tho, although lately the chef's havent been as experienced as in the past and lack a general enthusiasm. the building and restaurant decor are super cool especially for taking the...family ..... so overall a good restaurant to recommend."

"This is typical Applebees restaurant, please note this is almost the same as a US Applebees but with a slighty twist on the menu. Service is average and food quality is just ok considering the price. It offers a nice outdoor area where you can...have a drink or casual dinner. The place has a nice atmosphere and it is very clean. Give it a try."

"This is a super picturesque eclectic restaurant in the hotel zone of mexicali. there are a lot of salads tapas style dishes. we had a super beautiful organic salad that was quite different. everything was crisp bursts with taste. then we tried the tuna ceviche that was also unique. I guess there were the shijitake mushrooms that pick jalapeño, which put it off from other zeviches I had before. we share a torta del res. this was like a small sandwich with amazingly delicate steak cubes that have a very pleasant smokey taste with spruten a light sose, possibly chipotle? but not sharp. we finished with tacos del lengua pibíl. wow! super delicate, fleshy little things that have done us quite a lot. Sorry, no room for the desert. the prices were very reasonable. the atmosphere is stylish. in any case, the next time will repeat I am in mexicali."
