"It wasn't our first time here. After visiting some times, I noticed a trend. I'll go when it's slow, I'll wait a few minutes before I noticed. We put our beverage order, I always start with a draft beer, and every time it is a while before it is brought to the table, usually remembers when I get the waitress when she comes to our food order. But the food is always great, the servers are always so sweet. It's just the hint and forgotten factor for me."

"This was a great Cracker Barrel! Our waitress Donna was great! Not a super long wait, and the whole staff was top notch. As we were leaving, there was a lady who was being very rude to the management and the girl taking payment. Super uncalled for, but they handled it with grace and care. Kendra took my payment (and I think that’s who was being yelled at) and she was super kind. Highly recommend this location!"

"The best place in Morganton for authentic Guatemalan food. Everything is made from scratch (including the tortillas) and is delicious beyond imagination. After you eat, you can shop their grocery store, home to the highest quality meat and seafood I have found locally. Don't be intimidated if you do not speak Spanish, they will help you order and their staff is bilingual. The menu also has pictures. Plus, you can use your phone and Google anything you need to translate. Mi Pais is an absolute must try and will likely become your new favorite."

"I showed up with my mother for dinner at 5.45. Apparently, reservations are highly recommended. Almost all tables were empty, but we were told that it would be 1 to 1.5 hours to sit inside. Maybe the food is good, but I probably won? It seems that they do justice to a more exclusive crowd, or maybe there was an invisible line around the block."
