"The one-and-a-half year of Covid 19 pandemic, sad to see a lot of restaurants fighting to stay afloat, many of them just closing their door for good, some owners started to cut back quality, hop in late...lunch after falling my aunt from the hospital, first visit ini, sees a young family running, not a great place, but safety guidelines well done, I feel clean and cozy This restaurant can stand next to each 5 star restaurant in Vancouver! for its quality and service, well done! I'll be back. If you're in the area, try it! You will thank me for this!"

"I went in today for the first time by Recommendation from a classmate at sfu. I always worry when people I haven’t eaten with before tell me something is good. You don’t know them well enough to know if they know what good is or...not. The service was freaking amazing. I see people complain all the time about service at asian restaurants. I have learned to just put my hand up when they make eye contact and the sever comes over. This place I didn’t need to do anything. They were amazing. I sat down, they brought a pitcher of tea right away. I asked for water and they brought a cup and a cold bottle of water. Anytime I finished a dish they came by with a smile and grabbed it. Any how to eat I had: Miso soup. Ebi sunnomono 1 tamago nigiri 2 chop scallop nigiri Smoked salmon nigiri 6 pc spider roll Oyster motoyaki Tuna karage Everything was really good. Not quite as good as some of the top sushi places I Like to go to. (Maguro, maguro guy, Todai sushi) but all in all a lot better than most sushi places around. I will definitely go back to try other dishes. I was very pleased with the amount of shrimp and prawns in the sunnomono. The oyster motoyaki was very good. With a hint of sweetness, mixed with cheese and spinach. The spider roll was huge. The presentation was amazing! It had good flavour but fell apart too much while eating, I think another wrap of seaweed would hold it together better. Plus a little more of the deep fried shift shell crab in each piece would have made it great. Although I enjoyed the flavour I probably wouldn’t order it again for the one simple reason of it falling to pieces as soon as you pick it up with the chop sticks. The Tuna karage had good flavour. It came with a spicy mayo sauce. It would be way better if they would just slightly cook it so it was medium rare in the centre. The amount they cooked it the batter got a bit too tough. This is personal preference though. It was still very good. I don’t usually like salmon sushi (personal preference again) but opted to try the smoked salmon nigiri. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very very good. The tamago and chopped scallop nigiri was right up on par with my regular places I go to. Hope you enjoy the photos!! Again try this place out. For sure try it out. The food is very very good!!"
