"I was truly disappointed with the quality of their meat. it was dry and tasteless. it was much better before the pandemic. The BlackBerry cobbler was also a let down. too much crust and pretty dry and cold. I had cobbler there 3 yrs ago and it was muchbetter then."

"I'm totally loving this family owned business!! As a trucker came with my 14 year old son in a Bob tail on a Saturday night, they were all so nice!! Food is home made! Place is clean annnnd they have crawdads for you lovers of these fish!! Their soups are excellent and fresh fruit is wonderful!! The sweet tea is made with REAL sugar!! Our new little spot in Sealy Texas!! As they say across the deep blue... I would drink wine with you.. if I was there and not a cdl.. I would.. replace with tea lol I will drink tea with them :"

"Kathy's Corner has everything. So comfortable. Located directly on the highway and easily accessible. The food is excellent, with a lot of variety. The menu includes seafood, hamburger, roasted chicken, gumbo, salads and sandwiches. We share cooked shrimps. It comes with corn and potatoes, with exactly the right amount of Cajun spices. Large plate, lots of shrimps. It was so good and the staff is a well-oiled machine. The remaining room was very clean. There is also a convincing shop that even wears Full Size Blue Bell ice cream and a gift shop. You also have a selection of wine and you like to cook your own seafood you can also help. Fresh seafood such as crab legs, crab cakes, oysters and fish fillets can be bought. Some weekend evenings have live music. If you are looking for a campsite or somewhere to save your RV or boat Kathy has that too, just a bit on the road."

"This is a memorable stop..love the beautiful limestone with metal roof, very upscale building. Restrooms always sparkle..fuel is usually local average price and pumps are kept nice. Love the interior country decor which reflects a Texas hill country themetopped off by a beautiful Canadian Goose greeting you as you come in the door..very appropriate given this is the edge of thewinter flight path of the northern flocks of migrating geese Our favorite treat at Kathy's is the beautiful covered pavilionout back on a private lake..where they hold live music, serve crawfish, shrimp or bbq on Saturday nights depending on theseason...you pay for food and drinks..but the entertainment is free to the public...even have a playground for small kids...it'sa wonderful true country way for a family to enjoy a Saturday night out together.....guess you can tell..we really like thisplace."

"Love Chinese food but only from a select few places. Passing through today and we planned to stop somewhere for lunch. My husband really wanted Chinese food. After looking at the reviews decided to give this place a try. I would give 10 stars if Icould. Service was fast, friendly, food was AMAZING. Lunch specials come with plenty of food. Only complaint would be the springroll was a little small."
