"It 's too bad a thriving college town doesn 't have more veg friendly places, so I usually end up here when visiting State College. That said, if you 're vegan, be sure to check out MAD MEX attached to the Days Inn a block away! Green Bowl is pretty much your typical Korean or Mongolian style BBQ place. Staff is reliably friendly and they take care to mark your creation as veg for grilling purposes. They do have a diverse selection of ingredients to choose from sometimes mandarin oranges, kale, etc."

"Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The quality of ingredients produced dishes that were simply delightful. I ordered 8oz medium rare filet and was cooked to perfection. My coconut shrimp was also out of this world. The restaurant also offers a wonderful drink menu, I had the wallaby darn and couldn’t help my self to order a second round. Also, Mike my server was very friendly and attentive. He came around often to check on our experience and seemed to be authentically engaged. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable for the high quality of the food."

"So I took a trip to State College to attend and event at the Rec Center. This was right off the main highway and I was short of time so it was perfect. The restaurant is small and was very clean. I am a VERY picky eater and asked for my order (shrimp andbroccoli) to be steamed with the sauce on the side. They brought my salad out and even had the ginger dressing on the sidetoo!????????My dish was prepared perfectly, the service was very good so I have no problem recommending this restaurant."

"Best food I have had in State College, it?s not soggy and it?s full of flavor. The food is so fresh, the fried rice is simple but amazing!!!! The staff is so friendly and nice.
