"Eating was honest. the service of the waitress (named maya) could have been much better. it was as if she wanted to serve me and friend not. quick responses were given first when asked about the menu. a smile wasn't there where you saw it. I was uncertain when I wanted to order. Although, later she started to be more friendly and show good true customer service close to the end. I and my friend have tipped the waitress. we just wish a good service. I am not against the return to frontera. I just want a good service. I come to eat and join my friend (s), but poor service or simply ok service is not acceptable."

"This place came highly recommended, yet I wasn't super impressed. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is small with no restroom for customers, and limited seating.Although, the portion size was plentiful, the catfish nuggets were tasty, but not delicious. The hushpuppies tasted stale, as if they were prepared the day before. The freshness and quality was a miss. I purchased a slice of cake, which was the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the whitting, to which he said was good. All-in-all, this place was fair. I don't feel like my money was wasted, however I would not be enthusiastic to ever return."

"Our waitress was great, the food was good, (a tad bit cold, but still good), our drinks were good. Overall the service was decent. However the idiot at the door, I don't know what to refer to her position......she was beyond horrible. There were 3 large adults in our party, one toddler and a 12 yr. old. This idiot tried to seat us at a booth. She was just ridiculous ?. We then asked someone else to seat us at a table, where we would have more room, and be comfortable. She granted our request with no problem. The other girl then showed her stupidity again. Apparently her Manager informed her there was another group of people coming in, so she needed to put some tables together. Well, as patrons are sitting and enjoying their meals, she's slamming tables and chairs around like a complete maniac. It was awful. She was just out of line in every way. If you didn't want to work that day, stay home. But don't make things miserable for everyone else. Outside of her, like I said Applebees was decent for a little lunch/dinner get to together."

"I ordered the food and it came out in less than 2 minutes. Everything is made in advance and microwaved, yet they don't charge you that way. Fried rice is old rice but fried, they served me old fried rice...the rice was made then refrigerated, then fried and refrigerated again which means if you reheat this food you can get sick."
