"'Went for Diaria, advertised at 7.50 Euros all inclusive. Had the soup, meal, dessert and coffee, with only water and no wine. The meal, carne assada, was OK but lots of fat, the soup honestly tasted like dishwater with a few bits of cabbage and carrot floating in it, could not eat it all. Mousse Chocolat too thick and rich, it was a passable meal but nothing special. Then we were charged 12 Euros each, have no idea why but way beyond what was expected. I know others who go for the daily meal and pay only the 7.50 Euros so I am wondering why we were charged so much. We have lived in the Alto Minho area for many years so not tourists and not used to such poor quality. There are lots of daily meals which are excellent. They are planning to host an ex-pat lunch there next month and I just wonder if it will be as bad. I will be passing along this information to the group. I can only hope that something better is on offer. I will definitely not return, far better elsewhere."

"The location is great, just above the beach. you pay for it. a little back this was a friendly, inexpensive local restaurant. they painted the interieur and prices must have risen by at least 50%. what was sensible food at a decent...price was replaced by similar food and North European prices. this is done by a menu where the starters are in the round either garnish or crab, which they are easily back €30 a few and main courses from around €16 up. be careful, as another reviewer mentioned, they will try to bring them a teller of how they arrive. they are easily rejected, but set the ton. the personal is now indifferent and transaction."
