"Took advantage of a Grabone voucher and had high tea with bubbles as a weekend treat. The restaurant was busy with big tables occupied, however we had a lovely table for two overlooking Wellington.<br/ <br/ The glass of bubbles arrived promptly and soon after the tea trolley with a lively assortment of teas. The food then arrived and it was lovely, presentation was stock standard high tea form but everything was fresh and delicious. The only bone I would pick is the sausage rolls were not hot.<br/ <br/ We were offered tea refills often and the person on the tea trolley was fabulous, very helpful and welcoming. <br/ <br/ Would come back for sure!"

"Came here today at 10.30am for yumcha. The food and experience was wonderful with A service. The food was fresh and tasty and delicious highly recommend coming here. Spare ribs and dumplings were delicious also the sweet and sour pork and roast duck yummy."

"We popped in here an hour before having to head back to our cruise ship. The staff were exceptional. So friendly and accommodating. I asked for rocket to be added on top and they did without any further charge. The meal was absolutely devine much credit to the chef! The view of the harbor was great."

"Decent cheap eat. Didn't mind their wonton dish, broth was a little on the salty side but OK!<br/ <br/ Also had the roti chanai, roti was a bit sweet for me, but a good dish over all.<br/ Have dined in and had their cha kway teow. This place gets busy around lunch and dinner so if you haven't booked, I'd recommend you go outside these times.<br/ <br/"

"Not bad....little bit disappointed with the food. Chicken overcooked, but fantastic favours in the soup itself. Beers was tasty...nothing on draught tho. Worth checking out. The view of the harbour is outstanding. The photo posted is not quite the same view...but gives you a flavour of what you may be able to see...particularly if you sit near the windows during sunset. Hope that helps."

"From my favourite white poached chicken, to the signature orange beef (a play on a sort of sweet and sour beef , and back, the food here is excellent. Last time I went we also had delicious hot salty prawns in their shells, slow braised pork and taro, and the combination seafood in a deep fried potato basket. If you care more for the taste of your food than anything else, Shanghai is a very underrated cantonese style restaurant and worth a try. Oh and they do BYO also ; 4.5 stars"

"My friends and I love to dine at Long Xiang! Starting with the food, Long Xiang has a great menu to choose from. Their entrees are fantastic so I would definitely recommend you try them out; my favourite is the shrimp dumpling soup. For the mains my friends and I find it works best to share the dishes. My favourites are the Beef in Black Bean Sauce, the Bbq Pork, and they cook a mean fried rice too. They also include ample amounts of vegetables with the meats so the meals are well-balanced and pleasant to eat.<br/ <br/ But what I think really makes Long Xiang a great restaurant is the service. The female manager is an absolutely delightful host who always makes us feel welcome. We truly appreciate her humour and hospitality and it pleases us to support this local business. Thank you Long Xiang!"

"Walking back to our hotel spotted Jasmine and had to taste the Chinese in New Zealand.<br/ <br/ Quiet place with a different ambiance to the Chinese restaurant in India which are sometimes garishly done.<br/ <br/ Beef rice, slightly sticky rice with jasmine flavour and tender pieces of beef strips dotted with spring onions.<br/ <br/ Chicken soft Noodles. A largish plate with nice soft Noodles decked with slices of spring onions, mushrooms and well cooked chicken.<br/ <br/ Service was prompt and efficient.Geeta Mayne"
