"Holy smokes so far, the best Enceballdo soup I have had in NJ/NY area. Tostones were also a hit. If you read my reviews, you know I'm a well traveled white boy from JC NJ. Married to a bodiqua from Brooklyn. So I know latin food. The only thing I don't like is adding the tip on the total bill. This really bothers me when places do this. They will lose business because of this. Owner I would rethink your tip policy."

"We stopped in on Saturday and the food was excellent! New building (I assume smaller than the original) but the service was friendly and the atmosphere was down home like being in a friends home. My wife and I shared a 3 meat plate of brisket and double ribs. The brisket was tender and smoked like Texas beef should be. The ribs were tender and had an excellent texture not falling off the bone like some mistakenly think is how they should be. My son has the half chicken plate and he said it was the best he has had! My daughter is a connoisseur of fine hamburgers and this one was top notched and the fries were as well. We did save room for the homemade Coconut Cream Pie and everyone loved it! I tried to get my wife to let me get one to bring with us but she reminded me that we were on our way to Spring Break and not headed home!"

"Freaken amazing food. Their pasta arabiata is in more of a pink sauce which explodes the taste buds in your mouth. Your mouth will thank you, so please order it. And I cannot forget to tell you about the bang bang shrimp appetizer. Do not miss out on this! Your food choices may never be the same again. You will dream about this, then you'll wake up and you will order more."

"I went to the Canal House and thought it was very nice... The staff was excellent and the Prime Rib delicious... The bar has 20 designs of beers and everyone is friendly.... You have music all weekend I would definitely make that my place for dinner and drinks"

"Skip it. Go elsewhere. Had spicy chicken sandwich with fries. Service was good. Food medicare at best. Unfortunately I can't recommend anything. Soda machine was broken. No napkins at the table or counter, had to clean my hands with what I had in a car . I'm pretty sure this place have seen better days and seems about to retire if it's not dead already. Wish you guys best."

"I got the Grilled New York Strip Roquerfort. It was good. If you like blue cheese this is for you it's basically a steak with blue cheese crumbles all over it. Came with vegetables. Nice portion. Place was nice. Waiters were very nice. A little expensive. But good quality food. Calamari was good for 2."

"Excellent customer service. I didn't even sit at the bar for a minute and asked if I had helped. I'm vegan, so I expected a hard time to adjust a court where I go in South Texas. to my surprise my server had no problem to pick me up! love this place now! definitely it will go again. Thank you!"
