"Great pub for drinking. The bartender was amazing the keg finished half way through the beer and the beer was on the house. Ive also had food here before and their basic menu eslecially the fish and chips was top notch."

"There are locals and then there are locals... And then there are families where you go for dinner and a pint. This is the latter. It is cozy and warm by the fire in winter, and sunny and breezy in the back garden in the spring and summer. The menu changes with the seasons and avoids pub fare in an accessible and delightful way. The food simply never disappoints. The managers and staff actually care, about their customers and each other. They work their butts off and always manage to have a smile in their back pocket when you walk through the door. A true Cambridge pub, for true Cantabrigians."

"Had our Christmas dinner here. Atmosphere was amazing. This place is so lovely, that fireplace in the middle is just great. Unfortunately all veg (green beans, sprouts, carrots) been absolutely undercooked it seemed like they haven’t even seen the boiling water but other than that everything was great."

"Had a nice meal out here, staff were very patient, friendly and helpful (we were a big group). I would say the portion sizes need a little rethinking. Most were fine but my normally healthy appetited friend ordered fish and chips and struggled to get even close to finishing it!"
