"Nice lunch on Saturday. menu didn't get me completely, but we thought we would try. very much tries to be local. the menu was reflected, with local village or city names in the menu description. local products and suppliers seem important. personal attention, especially our server, leo. I saw how eating is served, all looked good, but I felt a little overpriced. we had a chapel down sparkkenrose, can't go wrong with it. burger over a customs thick after cooked, tasty, but could have been a somewhat larger part of salat and chips. I had hunger. had a few cocktails, nice, again a little expensive. quite a good afternoon, menu not overwhelming, clinging, but nothing exciting. a standard 12.5% measurement fee added in the invoice. the menu was cooked by fresh, refreshing and that is worth waiting. I would go back, yes, probably. in any case worth a try."

"We have visited this pub on several occasions and the food is generally good. On a busy Saturday night the place was a bit noisy but that was only to be expected. All four of us enjoyed our meal, the portion size was good and the service was fine. Recommended if you're looking for a reasonably valued gastropub"

"Beeches is a medium sized restaurant,with an lod world feel with low beamed ceilings and a warm feel.The decor is faded Indian Restaurant style,and needs a makeover.The menu is good to look at but the execution is poor/bad.The ingredients for the dishes we had were poor and the cooking of the dishes was executed to the book,but the finished results were either disaster or bland beyond belief.So Prawn and crayfish Marie rose was a goos size with plenty of prawn and crayfish (frozen I suspect) bottled marie rose sauce and the salad garnish(very small)No flair..it was what it was(best value on the night)we could all do better at home.The Snails with parsley mash.Tinned snails and greasy lumpy mash.Crab mornay........disaster........a tin of crab too much cheese and in the oven til baked through it came swimming in the fat from the cheese..no seasoning no finesse.......inedible.(to be fair when we complained it was removed from our bill.Chips fried in dirty oil.Fillet steak was cooked properly no real flavour or seasoning,asparagus...baked to death..sautee potato undercooked greasy..spinach not washed properly.All in all not a good night really,do let me know if you fare better.The cooks seem to have read the cook book but not tasted the fruits of thier labour.Will not return"

"Dear Fish on the Green You are the Dish of my Dreams I had a beautiful ‘reacquainting myself with restaurant life after lockdown’ lunch today. The Oysters Rockerfeller and the Lobster Thermidor exceeded all expectations. And the Muscadet was smooth and dry and chilled. Everything was deliciously perfect."
