"What a place. The ambience, the selection of drinks and delicious appetizers and entrees make this a perfect upscale bar. I can not recommend the cheese plate enough, this is not an ordinary lap three cheeses on a board situation the people at East End really made it with this dish. The cocktails let you dream about them for weeks. In addition, your seasonal menu gives you an excuse to come back and try new items! Definitely a reservation, so you can make sure that you have all the time and space to really enjoy this Providence gem."

"The Rosendale has been around for about 7 years in downtown Providence. It's a neighborhood bar that host many special events, so during Providence street events, they usually close off the street and have a nice block party in front of their doors. I like the burgers, wraps and appetizers. Not badly priced and freshly made. The last time I had the wrap, it was a nice bulky portion with tender and moist meat inside. The fries were ok, not too crispy but not bad. This GastroPub is set up as a comfortable neighborhood kitchen and bar that caters to professionals, students, families and all visitors to the city. It's housed in a historic building that dates back to the early 1900s, the owners took inspiration for the restaurant's name from its former tenants, Rosendale and Company, which was one of the first top hat companies in America. The owners set out to offer a casual and friendly place for people to hang out. The menu offers comfort food favorites with a gourmet twist. Everything is made to order. The crowd-pleasing menu includes flatbread pizzas, nachos, wraps, garden salads, grilled paninis, burgers and made-to-order sandwiches made with fresh and local ingredients."
