"I haven't eaten yet. for a few beers after the walk through the lakes. really friendly staff and beautiful atmosphere. the food proportions looked good. also for pooches is a big reception that is exactly the right one for a country pub."

"We booked the tepee in the orange tree for a family celebration. what an excellent service we had. friendly, professional and attentive service from all employees. they really added that extra something that ran so smooth the afternoon. the tepee itself was perfect, very warm and cozy also on a very cold day. that was great. all in all a fantastic service that was very valuable. all our guests thought exactly the same."

"I had an awful experience. When checking in I double checked that I had a family room which I paid for. The receptionist was not attentive, but told me they took did have an extra bed. There was no extra bed. The receptionist also said I hadn’t added breakfast to my booking. I added breakfast prior to our arrival but was told it was for one person. I therefore paid for my husband and daughter who is a child but I was charged for three adult breakfasts £30 I paid £81 for the room. The receptionist assured me I was charged for two adults and one child. We got to our room and the separate bed wasn’t made for my daughter. We were attending a party at the hotel and the bed had to be made when we were getting ready for the party which was not convenient. Later in the evening, my key card didn’t work. After three attempts back down to reception, when I was told each time that the card would work, it didn’t. This was at 11pm. The receptionist finally came to check why the card wasn't working at my fourth attempt and fifteen minutes of going up and down to reception and found that the battery in the door key lock has run out. It had to be changed whilst I waited to go into my room. Also on leaving the ceiling was leaking so we couldn’t leave via the entrance. Overall, I was very disappointed."
