"A last minute reservation for a family lunch, this small organic restaurant situated between the Maison Carré and the Jardins de la Fontaine in Nîmes had only a few indoor tables with the outside terrasse closed on a sunny but chilly December day. Among the...lucky ones, we enjoyed excellent and well presented food for a more than reasonable price with great service a nice atmosphere. Everything was delicious with well presented and generous portions, but the Formule Express with Plat du jour, a glass of wine et a café gourmand for less than 20€ must be the deal of the century !"

"We didn't find it easy to find good vegetarian food in Nimes, so we were really pleased to see that this restaurant had a "veggie plate" on offer for 15 Euros . The restaurant is in a small shady courtyard, and you can enter it from 2 sides. Service is pleasant, and it's not at all formal.And the food was great. We got a chilled cucumber gazpacho, a potato tart, eggplant crumble, braised carrots, potato dauphinois, and tomatoes. That was plenty just there, but we decided to share a desert plate at 8 Euros, which was lovely. This being France, the wine was good and inexpensive. We ate quite early - arriving about 7.30 pm, but by 9 pm all the tables were taken. This was the best meal we had during our 8 day trip. It was heavy on butter and cheese, but we reasoned we were walking it off with all the sight seeing."

We enjoyed the dishes offered, a delicate kitchen, a kitchen work that deserves recognition, as well as the calm of the terrace. "If the dishes were excellent, we had to wait 45 minutes between the entrances and the dishes. The server's explanations were confusing and not convinced us. Either saying we were 5th for the preparation of tables of 4 people.. observing the room I did not see as many tables of 4 people. Of course we are going to the restaurant to have a good time but 3 hours at the table is a lot. A small gesture like offering coffee would have been appreciable. It's too bad"

"Tapas bar where produce is excellent and very well cooked, service is patient, attentive but un-intrusive and the setting is very characteristic. wines were great or very good too. all in all we had a very merry time in the courtyard which was nice and...cool in a very hot day ... we ate and drank more than we meant to as we were enjoying all of it so much. will definitely go back during the ferias !!!"
