"City Palace Hotel is close to where I work. I go this restaurant when I have a late lunch and my usual eateries have finished serving lunch for the day. This is a tiny place that manages to squeeze in about guests at a time. It is normal to share a table with others Rice, three vegetables, dhal curry, meat/fish item, a papadam and a fried chilli is the deal. Rice and curry with beef costs Rs. Other items on the menu include fried rice, kottu, biriyani and short-eats The shop also sells cigarettes, soft drinks and tea. The best thing about eating here is the rice and curry is served hot even when I go there to eat a late lunch At noon this place can get packed with hungry people. On fridays, the placed is closed during Jumma time."
