"It was my first time dining at Tarragon on Lavender Hill in Battersea. I've walked past it dozens of times, but it always looks a bit too bright in there and it's never busy. I happened to stumble across a review recently, which rated it very highly, so thought I'd check it out. Very glad I did. The food is incredibly good and portions generous. Nice little touches like the flatbread being made and baked front-of-house make it feel special. I will definitely be going back as everything on the menu sounds delicious and my only regret was that I didn't eat more! Well worth a visit, even if this isn't your neighbourhood."

"What a lovely place to eat! I came here on a whim as it was on the way to the location I was going to what a great choice that was, the atmosphere was very nice (can’t wait to come back and sit in the garden area in the summer) and the food was top tier, I went for a lamb kebab with rice and wow flavours wise it won’t be topped! Thoroughly enjoyed, if I did have one critique the tables were slightly sticky but I’ll definitely be back."

"Presentable large portions however I found the quality and taste of food bland compared to other Persian restaurants I 've been to in the area. The fresh bread is the highlight of the restaurant. Only wished the staff prompted us to order it WITH the starters! Not tell us after the starters arrived that it will take a 'while ' for the bread because we did not order it. (My table assumed bread came with the dips and starters we ordered) Overall the atmosphere is okay but food could be much better for the price."
