"My friend said it was good, so guess what? I brought my two Japanese friends there for all u can eat dinner. And here 's the verdict: not authentic Chinese chefs the Sashimi were cut into blocks, not slices we ordered lots, but a quarter...of the food never made it to our table (they may have ran out, but they didn 't bother to tell us This Kensington location is labelled as Japanese and Thai fusion, but the Thai food is simply not good (I 've been to Thailand and I know what Pad Thai is... And the BBQ beef was hard and dried. I just returned the whole plate. My Japanese friends simply said that it 's westernized Japanese food . So there you have it. If you 're ok with westernized Japanese food, then go ahead. But if you 're bringing Japanese friends, please don 't disappoint them."

"A friend and I used the ski promo and got half-priced wings and pommes. I have the wrong order (no biggie) but they found out that I didn't get the right one and called the next day. kyla was so great and super...kind that I always like to go to the Canadian brewhouse, but know that they dinge take so seriously when it comes to their customers' happiness is really amazing! "I keep reading about jinya ramen as highly recommended ramen restaurant from the yyc food group and got curious about their food since I was craving for ramen that day so me and my husband tried the place. For me the food is okay and...i would say that it is not authentic Japanese cuisine though food wise it was ok. The place is somehow jampack, waiting time is not that long and we just waited for about 15 minutes. Price wise it was reasonable, parking in the area is a bit difficult, no waiting area for customers to wait. We ordered their famous and best seller tonkatsu black ramen, chef special karaage bowl, pork gyoza and crispy chicken."

"We all ordered #64 – Hu Tieu Mi Sate Bo – which is spicy beef sate $11). Song Viet is generous with the basil and sprouts. All the condiments – like the vegetables and lime were fresh and clean. The bowl wasn’t large but there was plenty of beef and noodles to fill you up. I have a big appetite and I was full. What makes this bowl special? The noodles are fresh and not dried. Song Viet buys their noodles daily. The sate is pea-nutty and spicy, but not so hot it makes you cough and sputter."
