"I'm not usually a fan of chain restaurants, but Mellow Mushroom is actually pretty good. Since decent food is pretty thin on the ground in Somerset and green food is all but nonexistent, I really appreciate this place because I can get a nice fresh salad, great mushroom soup, really good pizza, and all served with a warm smile. I always have a good dining experience there, which is way more that I can say for any other Somerset restaurant. Now if I can just get them to offer local wines ... ; Hat tip to Pam, my server from yesterday, whose excellent service, friendly demeanor, and big smile made my solo lunch more fun.
