"Phenomenal. Gaby was awesome, friendly, inviting and very informative. Chef was running food to a different table and came by on his way back to the kitchen to clear my bar area and make sure I enjoyed everything, amazing experience as always. Food outstanding. Staff had excellent suggestions and I love the small quaint atmosphere. I will Be back next week for sure!!"

"The food was good. Some of the pizza toppings were pretty flavorless but the wood fired dough was delicious. A little too woodfired- as in burnt- so we couldn’t eat the crusts. The service was fine once they actually got to us. We were greeted with “You can sit but it’ll be a while before we can get to you.” Sent us to a table with no chairs for 2 guests, so we had to find them ourselves. She did forget our order and had to come back to check what it was supposed to be. We thought we would be in and out (pizza place, right? . Turns out we ended up being late to our event because everything was soooo slow. They were busy which is great for them but definitely needed at least 2 more servers. I would go back because the pizza that wasn’t burnt was really tasty but I’ll order takeout."

"Great place to go for some classic southern comfort foods with a twist! The holiday season is a perfect time to go since they have an old fashioned country store where you can buy classic candies, games, toys, gourmet foods, and other premium gifts. We checked out the country store to do a little browsing right before having our dinner. The first time I came I got the country fried steak, with their classic mac n cheese and turnip greens. It was a good, satisfying, yet simple meal that didn't cost much. Their country fried steak is basically a hamburger patty that's deep fried and breaded, and smothered with country gravy. I kept the sides simple with their creamy mac and cheese and turnip greens, as well as fluffy buttermilk biscuits with butter. On my next visit with my partner, I mixed it up a bit with some sugar cured ham, loaded mac n cheese (mac n cheese with bacon and crumb topping) and breaded fried okra, which I haven't had since I've been in Virginia visiting my sis, so this was a lovely treat. The whole meal was simple and very satisfying, which is what I really love about Cracker Barrel. Customer service was great and they were helpful for us making our choices. I do know that I need to go there for breakfast at some point since I know they offer it all day. I've been having my eyes set on their pecan pancakes for the longest time, after all."
