"It doesnt look special from the outside but its a little gem of a place in terms of food quality and food prep. Great bang for buck chinese food. The steamed dumplings are the signature dish and are fantastic. You cant tell the ingrediants are fresh all the time. I have been here many times and the food is always consistently good"

"There is potential here with the wide range from burgers, pizza, and kebabs. However, the issue is in the design and execution. My veggie burger comprised deep fried components (veggie pattie and hash brown), with little in the way of salad like things (really none). My chips seemed to be from the bottom of the bag with tiny crunchy bits and short lengths. I know they exist, but I seemed to get a lot of them. The price was not cheap, so the value was poor. I asked for the Covid sign in book (as I carried no mobile phone) and they said do not worry about it."

"What’ stands out for me with this pho joint is that the restaurant’s broth is unique compared to the stock standard pho you usually get around Melbourne. Mopho Canteen’s pho has a more of a pungent fish sauce aroma and taste. It’s brilliant. I reckon I’ve eaten here at least 5 times now and can’t go wrong with their signature “Mo Pho”. Filling , comforting and somewhat I brainwashed myself believing I’m eating something healthy with the amount of bok choy and tofu served in the dish. Just make sure you get table water for yourself because the saltiness can be intense (which is absolutely flavoursome) to quench your thirst after a few mouthfuls. Pretty good stuff."

"One of my favorite restaurants in Melbourne. Lunch time offers some great cheap eats.Food is authentic Japanese infusion with some not so traditional flavor combinations. Everything on the menu is simply amazing! Staff are Japanese (many Japanese restaurants are usually not staffed by Japanese) The restaurant doubles as a gallery space. so if there is an artwork you adore on the walls, then you can ask the staff for prices. There is an upstairs that extends the gallery space and offers a workshop space for many of the Melbourne Japanese community. I love this restaurant!!!!"

"Most AMAZING plate indeed. I live in Edinburgh and come to Melbourne regularly. I went to St Kilda to get my nails done and popped in here for breakfast (YES still available at 2pm). I'll be back for sure and can't wait. THANX Rosie for the complimentary long black coffee sooooooo good I had to have two!!!!!!"
