"I went out for lunch and was told I couldn't dine in at the restaurant. They were very rude about it.*EDITI was not mistaken I did go to your restaurant and a lady told me I can't eat lunch here. She said I needed a vaccine passport and I didn't have one. If you want to eat at a restaurant where the owner lies to the customers, eat here."

"I have been ordering food at the Temple restaurant for just over 30 years. The food was always excellent, the price reasonable, the portions fair and the service was fine. The dining in atmosphere was basic to say the least but this was never a consideration since we always ordered for delivery or pick up. The food was so consistently good that even after my wife and I moved to New Westminster from Aldergrove we still continued to take the 40 minute drive out to Aldergrove 8 to 10 times a year just to patronize this establishment, spending on avg 50 dollars each time.Unfortunately, the restaurant has changed hands last month and we were not aware of this when we arrived to pick up our food. After a brief mix up which we sorted out, we got home only to find the most of the dished were inferior in quality to their usual standard.The beef in the Beef and Tomato fried rice dish was very tough and chewy, the egg rolls were smaller and no longer appeared to be home-made and were definitely not as good. The deep-fried prawns were less in number, not as crisp and were fried with the tail and fins still intact. My wife also felt the all dishes were too salty which was never the case before.As well, the cost of almost every dish had increased, most by over 10% (our total bill increased from about $45 to $51 over last time, with exactly the same menu items). I understand costs increase and don't mind the occasional rise in menu prices to reflect this reality but to have this in conjunction with a decrease in quantity and quality is unacceptable.I did speak on the phone with someone at Temple later that night who confirmed there had been a management change and they said they would pass along our feedback to the cook/kitchen staff. They seemed interested in what we had to say but time will tell if any improvements occur. I told management we would give them one more chance, to see if things get better and for this reason I've rated this experience poor and not terrible'.I hope they're able get back on track or we'll be looking for a new go-to Chinese restaurant next year."
