"Went to L'Orangerie for lunch. I ordered the duck with ginger jus and it was perfectly pink and extremely tender. It was accompanied by pommes frites (what isn't in France) and a fresh, simply dressed salad. A glass of red wine to accompany the dish was recommended by the waiter and it complimented the dish perfectly and was not expensive. The waitress (I suspect but don't know for sure, the waiter and waitress were also the owner, the care and attention they gave me. I was particularly grateful to the waitress who helped me translate some information I needed re car hire.A very pleasant lunch and I shall certainly return when next in Beziers."
