"Warm and attentive staff. Very varied menu with many options to try. Everything looked delicious but we finally opted for a bowl of papaya fruit served with yogurt and honey and a delicious mollete (large enough for two people to eat) accompanied by a green juice and coffee. All the ingredients were fresh. Good price/quality."

"Looking for gluten free menu offerings was difficult but I contacted Marriott Cancun via email and got an immediate response of what they offer and she wanted to know when we were coming so she could inform manager and chef at the restaurant! The place itself is beatiful, like you are in a outdoor village. Staff was amazing and attentive. There was a lady singing and playing the flute the Friday night we went. We ordered the Sasi Sampler for an appetizer and gluten free chicken satay. For our entrees, even though there were four of us, we only ordered 2 dishes which were both gluten free combination fried rice and red curry chicken. Portions were huge and we still couldn't finish it all! The rice was loaded with chicken, beef, pork and shrimp. Fantastic food!"

"The mother restaurant has been a favorite of mine since …. but it is a long way into town and I do enjoy having this similar but different branch in the Hotel Zone - about two miles from the Marriotts. They offer many unique variations on food items in a splendid setting overlooking the lagoon. I recommend the Ginger Shrimp as an appetizer - Giant Shrimp in a diner and mushroom sauce and the house special chunks of Caribbean Lobster tail and Giant Shrimp in a curry sauce served over rice. Another hit for our party was the Grilled Lobster served with three different butter sauces."

"I made the mistake of looking for a place to watch the World Cup final in Cancun and figured I could get into Hooters but every place was just packed. Then I ran into a very welcoming restaurant owner and his very pleasant staff and decided to give his place a go. I had never been in a sushi restaurant before and was really unsure of what to order and while I was making my decision the owner came down with 2 free corona's for myself and my friend. Then he came down with 2 very tasty tequila shots. He had the match on and was making us very welcome. Our waiter recommended some sushi for us to try and it was just fantastic stuff. I couldn't tell you the name of the stuff but it was like a crunchy shrimp and rice wrap thing that was very tangy. I just loved the 10 piece sampler so much that I ended up getting another 10 piece sampler. I recommend this place to anyone going to Cancun and I will definitely be back."
