"This is such a great sushi place! It 's in a very small strip mall, right next to the dry cleaners. Upon asking the owner, I found out that N U stands for North University. The owner is always there behind the sushi bar, which keeps everything consistent and delicious! We always start with a Tuna Tataki, which is topped with plenty of fresh scallions, grated ginger, and chopped garlic. It 's so perfect every time! We 've also tried Fabulous Tuna, which is Tuna Tataki with a different sauce, and is plated very pretty. It is great, but the Tataki reigns supreme. Even the Crunchy Tuna app is interesting and yummy with Japanese potatoes mixed in for that unknown crunch! I recommend trying all of these Tuna apps! Their ginger house salad is delicious. Great homemade dressing! I was excited to see they offer Harusame Salad, but this was a FAIL. Great texture, no flavor... it really fell flat for me. We 've tried many rolls, and we have many favorites! Tracey: tuna, cuke, cc, avocado inside out with masago. We have added jalapeno, and it 's the perfect kick. They make a great JB Tempura Roll, and we always have to share one! The Mexican Roll is the perfect Shrimp Tempura roll, with spicy mayo and avocado. The Dave Roll is topped with Tuna and Avocado, and inside is Shrimp Tempura and more tuna. It 's a solid choice also! The Conch Dynamite, which is baked conch inside of a roll, is yummy, and very reminiscent of a sushi place very special to me! I 've had it 2x, and really enjoy it! Despite the name being pronounced NEW , this place is as old school as it gets. This is why I truly love this place! Full of traditional Japanese kitchen appetizers, the menu is just full of so many choices! You could honestly read it for a full 30 minutes! The prices are very reasonable, and the quality is high! There is only one waitress, and she is nice and provides awesome service! You can tell she has worked her for many years. This is definitely our go-to local sushi place, and it 's a little dangerous that we live only 5 minutes away!"

"Was surprised by the amount of activity this place gets so I decided to give it a try. They have a lot of good people working here and it shows. It's a decent place and it's big on community. The wings are good and so are the drinks. The pricing was fair and I couldn't complain on what they had to offer for the price."

"Disappointed in the food for the price. Ordered the Seasame chicken it was dry. Sauce was a salty mess. Egg fried rice had no egg in it and when we brought it to the servers attention their response was what do you want me to do . The host was quite friendly at least and the decor was nice. Restaurant seemed clean."

"This place grew on me after a while. They have a happy hour until 6. Their yakitori is delish. The sushi chefs are friendly. The bartender, Shannon, always provides exceptional service with a smile. Music is trendy. Place is often slammed."

"Lived in Coral Springs for many years and visited several times. Never been wowed by this place but usually a decent meal. Tonight Stephanie was our server and our luck we were seated right next to her “family”. As she began to try and take our drink order and introduce herself, a guy at her family’s table, Pablo, was making fun of her and mocking her. She had to keep saying “come on guys I’m working”. Her “family” was a loud obnoxious bunch. Their kids were running around the restaurant and at one point hit Stephanie as she walked by! Needless to say the dining experience was not good. Our party ordered garlic parm wings, boneless bbq wings, chicken soup and a mahi sandwich. Everyone in my group was not happy with their order except me. The sandwich was fine. The curly fries were just small bits of potato not much curly to them. Well we finally made a beeline for the exit and I took care of the bill at the counter, come to find out they had included a gratuity for a party of four. She said it was a mistake and corrected it. What a coincidence the mistake is always for their benefit? If I was the owner I’d find out what the heck is going on as we watched her give her people tons of free food and then brag about it to another customer! Unbelievable…. Glad my wife picked this place or I’d never hear the end of it!"

"Very disappointed in the service and food safety level. First off, they forgot our rice, drinks, and were very inattentive. They mix raw food with cooked food. This was brought to the chefs attention and did not care. He just asked if he should give the chicken mixed with raw tuna to others at the table. There was a disabled person at the table that could become seriously ill if raw food is ingested. This was made clear to the pony-tailed server before when a California Roll was ordered and no masago was requested. When approached to adjust the bill, this server was apathetic and dismissive that one person was not able to eat their meal due to their negligent cooking process. Any normal food establishment knows not to mix raw with cooked. Of course they would not refund the one person 's dish or even offer any adjustment. Not even an apology or attempt to make it right. They did offer to make some chicken in the back that would gave taken 20 minutes more.That 's not all. They claim to sit 10 comfortably at at table. That is not true. We were 9 and one person had to sit literally on a corner.Lastly, I come to find out that the pony-tailed waiter made inappropriate comments to a woman in our party, insinuating she should be making him dinner and was being what was perceived as flirtatious. This was very distasteful and accurately descriptive of this entire experience."
