"Good vibes and lovely staff. We both had the Arcangel breakfast (eggs, toast, fruit salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, papaya jelly and macchiatos) on our last day. All very tasty and great quality. Lowest CUP to USD (1:60) by far in any restaurant (1:90 typical at the time) but I know Cubans are having a very tough time and I could afford it. Best practice, btw, is to get the lay of the land before you order. Staff was very sweet and kind when helping to correct my Spanglish. Will definitely return."

"We stumbled upon this place within our first hour in Havana. We had not done any research before we left for Cuba and assumed we’d be eating nothing but rice during our stay. At first we were just happy to get out of the sudden rainstorm but we were so thrilled by the tasty VEGAN fare and amazing service that we ate here EVERY DAY!!! The staff was incredibly informative and happy to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We would highly recommend the black bean and veggie stew, veggie tacos, veggie sandwich, and the tostones! I miss the food and the friends we made there."

"Friendly, clean and tasty sandwiches! They have two vegan options on their fairly compact menu. A sandwich and a breakfast plate. There is also a fruit plate. The sandwich was a rare gem in Cuba, so much so I had it twice and visited the cafe 3 times! The options are basic, but there isn’t A lot of choice in Havana, so it’s very welcome!"
